In this article we discuss how the corporate yoga can effect physical and mental health of employees. It also talks about why corporate companies need to incorporate Yoga at workplace for a better productivity.
Problems of Indian Work Culture
Indian work culture is notorious for its long hours, high expectations and targets. As much as this benefits businesses, it also puts a great deal of stress on the working getting squeezed out. Here I am naming a few common problems, corporate employees in India are facing.
1. High stress levels and long work hours :
Many employees work well beyond the standard 9-5 schedule because of the work deadlines. According to a survey by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India over 41 % of Indian corporate employees suffer anxiety or depression due to long working hours and high stress environments.

The desk jobs demand that employees spend most of their day sitting, leading to a sedentary lifestyle. Sitting is equal to new smoking.
